Acts of kindness or service are a wonderful way to honor someone dear. Jerry Harris was known for his love of service. We’d like to invite you to join us, his family, in honoring his memory by serving others starting with our first Jerry Harris Service Day on his birthday, January 15.
Joining this day of service will look different for each of you. We encourage you to join in a way that is meaningful to you. Some options include volunteering somewhere meaningful, paying it forward at the grocery store, or even handing out hygiene packets to those who are unhoused. But maybe it will be as simple as opening your heart and listening for the voice that leads to service in the moment.
I think we all remember Jerry to be somebody who did both.
