Today, of all days, we had the opportunity to purchase a gentlemen’s groceries. We were checking out when he walked up behind the cashier and let him know he was parking his cart and would be back in a bit because he had forgotten his wallet, and he headed out of the store. Rory was able to catch him so we could save him the trip home and purchase his items.  It made me think of the many times on trips I would see Jerry offering assistance to individuals in need along the way.  He never just handed them cash and moved on.  He conversed, heard their story, and shared his faith with them!   After dinner tonight we celebrated Jerry by treating ourselves to one of his favorites……. Root Beer Floats!
